Round 2 Game at Loyola Ends Season
While the Broncos won their Round 1 Playoff victory against Hinsdale Central, the road through the State Playoffs ended at Loyola Academy on May 27th when Varsity lost to the #2 seeded team in the State Playoff bracket 14-7.
The Varsity Broncos end the season with a solid 10-7 record.
While the loss was tough, the season ended with a Mid-Suburban Conference Championship, ten graduating seniors, and a very strong group of returning underclassmen.
Congratulations also go out to the Junior Varsity and the Frosh/Soph squads who also ended up on top of the conference standings with 8-0 and 4-0 conference records, respectively.
BHS Annual Awards Banquet June 7th
Parents and players are encouraged to hold Monday June 7th to attend the Annual BHS Lacrosse Awards Banquest. More details are forthcoming.
2010 Alumni Game Scheduled for 11/26
Michael Formichella reports that the 2nd Annual Alumni Game has been scheduled for the Friday after Thanksgiving, November 26th, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
All Barrington Lacrosse alumni are encouraged to hold the date for a enjoyable evening of lacrosse and camaraderie at the North Barrington Fieldhouse.
Bronco Volunteers Needed !!
Parents are asked to volunteer for one or more club or squad activity in order to ensure that the teamies can continue to sustain planned program efforts. There are many volunteer options for participation, even a No Stress $75 donation opportunity for those whose time commitments don't accommodate volunteerism.
