Welcome from new Head Coach Jason Kaiser
Barrington High School Boy’s Lacrosse has a history of excellence, having been crowned state champion in 2001 and appearing in 5 final fours through 2005. With the increased communication of clear expectations for the players, off-season training and play, and discipline coupled with a renewed and passionate coaching staff, it is my intent to return our program to an elite level in Illinois.
Thanks for your continued support of the program and your boys and I am looking forward to getting the season started with Registration night.
2014 Preseason Training and Conditioning Program
The BHS Lacrosse program is providing a pre-season training and conditioning program to get our players ready to go for the 2014 season. A 4-week program beginning Tuesday, February 4 is planned. All sessions will take place on Tuesdays for Lacrosse training and Saturdays for conditioning. The last session will take place Saturday, March 1. All Tuesday sessions (2/4, 11, 18, and 25th) will take place from 8 - 9:30pm; All Saturday sessions (2/8, 15, 22, and 3/1) will take place from 10 - 11:30am. Coach Kaiser expects all players not engaged in a winter sport to participate. The cost for the 8 session program is $100 and covers facility and personnel costs. All sessions will take place at Main Street Sports Center - 143 E. Main, Lake Zurich. Please email if you plan on participating. We will be confirming your participation and collecting fees on Registration Night, 1/28.
The Board is pleased to bring in Eric Genova as our Lacrosse trainer for all Tuesday sessions. Eric is an assistant varsity coach at Loyola Academy and former D1 assistant coarch at Cornell and Bucknell. In addition to providing our Tuesday trainings Eric provides private trainings for those players who may be interested. Eric LeSeur will provide conditioning on Saturdays. Eric, a BHS alum and Elmhurst College football player, provides conditioning and training to many BHS programs and athletes.
Bronco Volunteers Needed!
Parents are asked to volunteer for one or more club or squad activities in order to ensure that the teams can continue to sustain planned program efforts. There are many volunteer options for participation, even a No Stress $75 donation opportunity for those whose time commitments don't accommodate volunteerism.
Many thanks to all that so graciously donate their time and talents.
